Testament is made by Techguyver Labs LLC. This policy covers the Testament app for iPhone and this website.

What we collect

The app has no accounts, no sign-in and no advertising, and it does not track you across apps or websites. It never collects your name, email, contacts or precise location.

To learn which episodes people finish, the app sends us viewing events: app opened, episode started, episode finished or left and how far in. Each event carries a random ID the app creates on first open (not your advertising ID), the app version, the iPhone model and iOS version. Our server adds the country from the request and does not store your IP address.

If the app crashes, it sends a crash report (where in the code it failed, app version, iPhone model, iOS version) to Sentry, our crash reporting provider. Crash reports contain no personal data.

Subscriptions are paid through Apple. RevenueCat, our subscription provider, keeps a record of your purchase under a random ID (not your name or Apple Account) so your episodes stay unlocked and Restore Purchases works. The app also counts when the subscription screen opens, a trial starts or a purchase is restored.

We use this data only to fix the app and decide which stories to make next. We never sell it or share it for advertising. Deleting the app deletes the random ID.

What the app downloads

The app downloads episode videos, pictures and the episode list from our storage (Cloudflare). Like any web request, that storage provider receives your device's IP address to deliver the files. We do not use it to identify you.

Children

The app collects no personal data from anyone, including children.

Changes

If this changes, we will update this page and the App Store privacy details before the change ships.
